Here's how to find which bus or train will take you where you want to go.
If you live in a place, for example in a rural area, where public transport is more limited, and you want to take part in a group activity, such as scouts or other clubs, Community Transport could be worth checking out. There are nine community transport schemes in Derbyshire and you need to get in touch with the group in the area where you live. For details go to www.derbyshirect.com (opens in a new window)
If you're using public transport alone or with friends, check out our safety tips (opens in a new window).
Aged 11 to 13? You can get a b_line1 card (opens in a new window) that proves that you still get a cheaper child fare on buses and trains.
Aged 14 to 18? You can get a b_line2 card (opens in a new window) that gets you up to a third off the adult fare on local buses and trains. See where you can travel to in and around Derbyshire with your card on the b_line travel questions (opens in a new window) pages.
You can also use your card to get discounts (opens in a new window) at lots of shops and services. And b_line cards issued after September 2007 can also be used as your library card.
If you've not got a b_line card get a card now (opens in a new window).
